This dark delight is a less sweet variant of the original Kit Kat. It is part of the Otona no Amasa "Sweetness for Adults" line of Japanese Kit Kats, which are known for their richer flavors. It can be bitter, but if you like your chocolate dark as the night, this is the KitKat for you!

Nestle Japan began switching from plastic to paper packaging in 2019 to help reduce waste. By the end of 2020, the majority of their bags would be paper, saving approximately 420 tons of plastic packaging since September 2019. Nestle Japan intends to be completely recyclable or reusable by 2025!
